Ceragem Master V4 vs V5 vs V6 vs V7 vs V9: Which Thermal Massage Bed to Buy

Ceragem sells five Master V thermal massage beds at once, plus the S4 lounger, and the model numbers don’t tell you much. The V6 has more programs than the V7. The V5 has jade rollers and the V7 doesn’t advertise them. The V9 costs nearly twice the V4 and reclines. What every V bed has in common
Every V-series bed scans your spine before the session starts, then runs heated rollers along it while you lie flat. The rollers reach 149°F on every model. Every model folds into a bench about four feet long and slides open to about 80 inches. Every model comes with a one-year labor, three-year parts warranty (extendable to three and five years for $349, except in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and the Dakotas, where Ceragem doesn’t sell the extension), ships with in-home delivery to the lower 48 included, and carries a 14-day return window with a 20% restocking fee that covers the return freight.
So you’re not paying extra for heat or the scan. You get those on the V4. You’re buying the engine generation, the number of programs, the attachments, and on the V9, the recline.

Master V4, $5,499. The entry point and the one I’d expect most people to start with. It has the scan, the 149°F rollers, 17 programs with a Master Mode that lets you park the rollers on one vertebra, nine intensity levels and the heated abdominal massager. It skips the leg attachment. If your problem is your back and your calves are fine, the V4 does the job for the least money.
Master V5, $5,999. Five hundred dollars over the V4 buys internal jade rollers, the Acu mode and a third colour. Ceragem names the V5’s engine as CeraCore Generation 3 and doesn’t name the V4’s. Otherwise the two are close: the same 17 programs, nine intensity levels, a colour LCD remote, voice guidance, Ceragem’s built-in audio programs and the same fold. The V5 is the V4 for someone who wants jade rollers under their back.
Master V6, $7,999. The V6 is where legs come in. Air Cell sleeves wrap the calves and compress in cycles while the rollers work the spine, and the heated abdominal massager is still in the box. It also has the most programs of the flat beds, 22, and it starts automatically when you lie down. If you’d rather have the engine Ceragem names as CeraCore Generation 4, the V7 is $500 more.
Master V7, $8,499. The V7 runs on CeraCore Generation 4, with slow, steady traction along the spine, the Acu mode, the Aircell leg sleeve and an abdominal thermal projector. It has 20 programs, two fewer than the V6. This is the model I’d point a daily user at. You get legs, core, and the newest engine Ceragem lists for a flat bed. What the extra $1,500 for a V9 mostly buys is the recline.
Master V9, $9,999. The flagship, and the only one that isn’t flat-only. CeraCore Generation 5 uses four rotating rollers, and Ceragem says it delivers 70% more dynamic movement. The bed reclines in one-degree steps all the way to an upright chair, so it doubles as a seat for reading or TV with four dedicated chair-mode programs. It’s rated for users up to 298 pounds. The bed itself weighs 227, so the $200 White Glove setup is worth adding. If you want one machine that’s both a bed and a chair, this is it.
The S4, for people who don’t want a machine in the room
The Master S4 ($5,999) is the odd one out. Folded, it’s a 52-inch upholstered ottoman you can sit on. Unfolded, it’s an 84-inch lounger with the Gen 3 engine, the scan, 149°F rollers and 12 programs. It’s a heated massage lounger that disappears into a living room.
How I’d choose
Budget and back only: V4.
Same, but you want jade rollers: V5.
You want your calves done too and the most programs of the flat beds: V6.
Daily use, Gen 4 engine, legs and core included: V7. This is the sweet spot.
You want to sit up in it, or you want the best one: V9.
Nobody can know it’s a massage bed: S4.
