The Master V beds are cleared by the U.S. FDA for temporary relief of minor joint pain, temporary relief of minor muscle and joint pain stiffness, temporary increase in local circulation in areas to which it is applied, and muscle relaxation. That is Ceragem's own published list and it is the complete one. The Pause chairs are massage chairs, not medical devices.
For its cleared uses, the evidence is reasonable and short-term. A 2026 double-blind, sham-controlled trial of 40 people on a Master V6 found a 46.8% drop in pain after one session versus 17% with a sham bed (three authors work for Ceragem). A 2020 study of 116 older adults over eight weeks found less pain than a rehab-only group, unblinded. No study runs longer than eight weeks, and the beds are not cleared to treat any disease. The Master V4, V5, V6, V7, and V9 are cleared by the U.S. FDA as Class II medical devices (510(k)). The Master S4 is registered as a Class I device. The Pause chairs and the MediSpa Pro are not medical devices. Each product page states exactly what Ceragem is cleared to claim for that model.
